WHO ARE WE?

Golf in a van, trading as “G.V. Carlisle” was formed in 2009 with one aim, to bring the personal touch back to the retailing side of the golf profession, especially for the P.G.A. Pros for whom it is their livelihood. With the introduction of the Internet and mass call centres, most distributors rely on these none personal lines to sell their equipment. Most reps for the leading brands will just about manage a once a year visit to a small retailer, to take an order and then no further contact until the new lines appear next season.

G.V. Carlisle intends to visit the retailing pros at least once a month, we will carry certain lines of stock the pros need on a frequent basis such as, accessories including tees, pencils, ball markers etc, as well as the club components they use regularly, like grips, shafts and tape. We will also stock certain lines of golf equipment, but only those that give the retailers a descent margin of profit, as well as giving their customers the best value for money so they will return again and again.

In short the golf pro that becomes a customer will be introduced to some of the best deals available in the game, as well as receiving the best service and customer care that we can offer. We aim to make the job a lot easier for you whilst continuing to give you the personal touch that has seemed to have disappeared from within golf. You will be able to order your goods online and receive them the same week, without being charged inflated postage charges, as well as having them hand delivered to your door. You will also have the option of stepping on to the delivery van and purchasing your goods when we visit your retail outlet.
